Have you tried our sample copyediting lesson yet?

by | Nov 5, 2020 | Announcement

Last week our first ever copyediting course was launched, specifically aimed at those who aspire to become a language editor in India. I am excited more about the features we have built into the course: thoughtfully designed modules, plenty of practice papers, assessments, quizzes, crosswords, mind maps, puzzles, and what not!

We also shared one of the mind maps we created for the subject–verb agreement lesson a few days ago. (If you missed it, here is the link to download the SVA mind map.)

In fact, the entire lesson on subject–verb agreement has been made available for free, as a sample lesson. So far, the foundations needed to understand subject–verb agreement has been posted. Over the next few days, the rest of the lesson will also be posted.

I am also excited by the number of editors and editors-to-be who have signed up for the sample lesson. If you haven’t signed up for this sample lesson yet, you should consider doing it now. Even if you are an experienced editor, you can still take this lesson as a refresher. The sample lesson will give you a taste of what it looks like to learn with Editor’s Essentials.

Over the next few days, I will share more about the course. For now, I invite you to this sample lesson and share what you think about the course. Please share this news with your editor and editor-to-be friends.

Happy learning!
